For day 6 of the poerty challenge

Free Verse which is in someways harder than stricter forms

I'm not entierly convinced by this poem, I think I like some of my other poetry it was still interesting to write

Music starts within a dream
Twisting through the night
Pulling on a mind like a loose thread in a seam
As the morning dawns the music lingers
Pulling on limbs and fingers
Needing to be drawn out through music or song
Unable to leave until released

That little tick in the back of your mind
Behind thoughts and plans
Growing in time and dreams
Flowing and floating and never ending

Once envisioned
Pushing to be performed
Unable to be abandoned

Once out in the world it leaves you be
But already it seeds new notes
New threads to pull
New notes to sing
Creativity once sparked
Only ended by force
Or apathy
But always smouldering
To be sparked again
